Industry Expertise

Deep knowledge in an array of industry verticals, including omni-channel media strategy and execution, MarTech, retail, CPG, and book and magazine publishing

Ruth came highly recommended by our web development company, and she more than delivered! Adaptable, capable of working independently, but with a keen interest in adding value with every interaction, Ruth learned the nuances of our multifaceted business in record time. She then applied this knowledge to writing our new website and editing collateral material, all while keeping our brand vision, web dev requirements and tight timelines in mind. Overall, we couldn’t have accomplished what we did without Ruth’s support, and I look forward to the next project we get to work on with her.

Jennifer PotvinVice President, Marketing and Communications, HealthPRO Procurement Services Inc. -

I’ve come to think of Ruth as a useful “second set of eyes” on articles that are being prepared for submission to journals and publications. Over the years, Ruth has worked on three such articles, as well as survey questionnaire content. Her ability to collaborate with me and my students and to revise and streamline language were instrumental in being able to publish our research. Regardless of the subject matter—from marketing and operations during periods of economic instability, to the implications of carbon tax on international shipping, to digital technology in the workplace, and beyond—I trust Ruth to apply the same critical perspective and editing skills to our content as she does to her own business writing.

Ruth’s versatility as a freelance B2B and B2C writer is bar none. Whether it’s turning a phrase or publishing long-form content, she brings a brand to life. Her writing delivers on business objectives and communicates the right message in a way that empathizes with an audience. Personally, I’ve secured Ruth for a variety of material, including website content, white papers, press releases, brochures, and sales collateral—she really can do it all. And, she’s a joy to work with!
